I’m alone so during football and basketball season on Saturday and Sunday I will sometimes do a tailgate day or night. I will put some kind of a main course in my 2 quart crockpot. Something such as sloppy joes, loose meat (maid rite) sandwiches, meatballs for meatball subs, Coney sauce for Coney dogs sometimes just simply chili. I also include other snacks to munch on during the game. I will do my main course during halftime or between games. I also include small salads. This way I don’t have to spend time in the kitchen cooking a meal while the game is going on.
Great idea Paul! I love this idea. Perfect way to do a game day meal theme!! Thanks! -Danielle
